8TH GRADE FALL SPORTS

ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION  

Registration for all athletics in the Lake Stevens School District is via the FInal Forms online platform.

  Students must be registered with a current physical on file and medical insurance in force to be eligible to start practicing.

CROSS COUNTRY  

>Head Coach: Marty Fredrickson - martin_fredrickson@lkstevens.wednet.edu  

>First Practice:  Thursday, September 5th from 3:00-4:45  

>Regular Practice Schedule:  Mon - Thu / 3:00-4:45  

 

 

FOOTBALL  

>Head Coach:  Nate Callen

>Gear handout dates: TBD Athletes must be cleared and on the eligibility list in order to receive their gear   >First Practice Date:  September 4th after school until 5:00pm  

 

SOFTBALL  

>Head Coach:  Sarah Hirsch - sarah_hirsch@lkstevens.wednet.edu   

>Pre-Season Meeting on September 5th after school. Meeting will be at front doors and will last 30 minutes. 

>Regular Practice Times starting on Monday, September 9th: Mon - Thu from 3:30-5:00   

 

>Gear storage: 

Roll up cage inside the Main door entry to the Girls locker room.  Gear bags may not be transported on the bus, please arrange to have them dropped off at Cavelero before the first practice.  During the school day this cage is locked at 8:10am and unlocked just before the end of the school day.  Only athletic gear is to be stored here as the contents will not be available during the school day.   >Softball is a cut sport.  The cut policy can be found here.
